Dear Theatre goers,
It has now been 27 years since the show you are about to see this evening first saw the light of day. It was to be an extra special time for me as I was coming to join you and enjoy the performance and production put together with a modest budget and great love and enthusiasm. In other words to see it in very similar circumstances to those which were present at it's conception.
While the play itself remains eternally young it's author erodes to the ravages of wind, rain and time and is even now strapped up, sedated and pissed off.
I feel absolutely sure that you will have a marvellous evening and that the cast will receive the approval, laughter and applause due them.
Be happy, grow old disgracefully and Rock on!
