MISC: ROCKY HORROR INTERACTIVE: THE GAME

The Game

The Rocky Interactive Horror Show contains the Rocky INteractive game, a game
where you may choose to be Brad or Janet, and the object in either case is to
save the other in thirty minutes time before the house takes off to Planet
Transexxual.

Why anyone would want to stay on earth with that prospect is beyond me, frankly,
but those are the basic rules.

Also included on the disc are several .avi files of Richard running through a few
acoustic numbers from the score, and they can either be viewed from the
gallery, on the jukebox, or directly accessed from the disc itself.

(go to x -x being your cd-rom drive- X:\Data\movies\Robrien\SONGS\AVI)

To those interested, the songs are:

Science Fiction/Double Feature
Over at the Frankenstein Place
Sweet Transvestite
Superheroes
Time Warp

Christopher Lee stars as the Narrator, popping up now and again to offer a
comment, and Richard as the Game Devil, who is less helpful than the
Narrator.

Also on the disc are three techno takes of RHS tunes, with music by the JunkHeads,
and vocals by Arianne and Richard. These are tracks 2,3, and 4 on the cd, and
can be played in any cd player. The songs are Time Warp, Science Fiction/
Double Feature and Over at the Frankenstein Place, respectively.

The game itself has rotoscoped characters and some great rooms, with
some very eccentric furnishings. (Look for RHS references at every turn) If the music
turns you off, just hit "M" for the main menu and toggle the sound. "B" will
take you back to the game.

Hitting "S" at any point will save the game for you, but remember which room you
are in, as this game does not prompt for a save game name. It gives
instead the name of the room where the game was saved. It might also
be easier, when playing more than one game at once, to stick to the same
character to avoid further confusion.

"R" will switch between your character and the robot.
