As legend has it, Time Warp 2000 came about when Oglio records president was talking with Richard about different things, and after they had made their way through a good deal of a bottle of wine, he stated to Richard that what we needed was a "Time Warp" for the new millenium.

Richard, who was going back to England anyway, got together with his son Linus and came up with the track (and it's two subsequent remixes).
