Each team consisted of six players. Three male, three female.
The object of the game is to obtain as many Crystals as you can by solving puzzles. There are four types of
puzzles:
Physical
Mental
Skill
MysteryThe team has a captain and co-captain, and the captain
chooses who will play what game. Each game takes between two and three minutes to play. Winning the game wins you a crystal. Each Crystal is worth five seconds in the Crystal Dome at the end of the game, and the more time that you have, the better your chances of winning the big prize.
Lock-ins- In the event that the game is not completed
in the time allotted and the player is not out of the room, they are locked in for the remainder of the game. They can be "bought out", however, but it costs the team a crystal to do so.
Some games have an immediate lock-in clause. (Touching the floor at any time, falling into water, etc.)
When the four zones have been completed, it is time for the players to continue to theCrystal Dome.
