 This 1979 series about racing horses brings us Richard in the role of "Cowboy", a sort of stool pigeon who gives information for cash. A horse has been stolen and he's sought out for info. After which he's grabbed by the baddie and given a talking to for um... talking. It's a blink and you can miss it sort of role- at least until you hear him talk and that pretty much cinches it.
It would seem the poor man has some problems  shaving, and really enjoys his music.
