WHAT'S NEW?

6/5/03- All you "Bob" fans should be happy... I've added a couple of new ones. Check em out...

5/10/03- To all those who've written concerned that I hadn't updated the site in a while... thank you for your concern..... and now shut up. ;)

Added a page about Rocky Horror... fixed a few links in my personal section... fixed a mis-credited wave file from GO4... turns out it wasn't Richard in that wave file... who knew? ;) Well I do, now. Also finally removed the April fool's message from the main page.

4/02/03- Hehehehehe. Back to normal again. Of course it should have been at midnight last night, sadly, I only changed the local files and none of the online ones....

4/01/03- Well, Happy April Fool's day to everyone... I'm sure very few were surprised, and to those who were.... HA!

And for some silly reason, I forgot to mention Richard's Birthday... which was March 25th. (I imagine it's because I always expect some sort of National Holiday to commemorate the event -joke-)

3/15/03- Almost updating frequently. Will wonders never cease... added an "appearances" page, as it seems I hear about things more and more now.. including an auction of a photo of Richard as the Child Catcher.

3/13/03- Added a new article to the articles section....

3/09/03- Belated happy New Year to all... Please check out the News section, where you'll find details about an upcoming appearance by Richard.

12/20/02- Updated the Lyrics page, also added a few new chapters to Harry Furter and the Stoned Sorceror (apologies to RO'B and JK :D) Also added a few things to the links page.

12/02/02- I am SUCH a slacker. I think I'll blame the upcoming holidays... it works for most people out there. I finally got off my lazy behind and updated the Elvira's Haunted Hills page... I've only had the DVD for weeks now....

9/16/02- To all those in the UK... be sure to catch Richard on Channel 5's "Open House" on Tuesday, where Richard will be discussing his "Transfandango Ball" I'd also like to take this time to mention the X-Appeal auction, for which Richard has donated a few items. Take a look-see!

9/11/02-Once again, deepest sympathies go to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. On a happier note, the site has surpassed 100,000 hits... and thanks must go to everyone for dropping by. At the same time, another note of sadness... one of my families beloved cats, Bunky, died this week. I'll miss his furry company.

8/21/02- Added an article concerning the 25th anniversary of the stage show to the articles section of the site. I also added some more information about Mumbo Jumbo, including pictures and sound files. I also added a number of images to the Flash Gordon gallery.

7/18/02- Updated the television section to include Urban Gothic, a British Horror series in which Richard made an appearance, and proved once and for all that his bare chest is an appropriate deterrant for vampiric zombies. ;-)

7/10/02- Added/amended a bunch of lyrics. I also updated The Stripper section to reflect the lyric additions... and I must also thank James for providing the Stripper lyrics.. though I did change a word here and there from his transcriptions....

5/9/02- My apologies to everyone, and especially Richard for wishing him a happy birthday for two straight months. I hope for all of that it was a good one. We're back up and so on and so forth as of this writing- I've added a bunch of CCBB reviews, available in the articles section of the site (all are preceded with "CCBB" to make things a bit easier to spot) I've also finally taken the birthday greetings down. But I would like to take this opportunity to say a great big thank-you to The Independent, the British newspaper. They mentioned the site recently in an interview with Richard for CCBB. Thanks!!

3/25/02- Happy Birthday to Richard! Richard turns 60 today. I've updated the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang page, have a look-see!

2/9/02- Lyrics for Pseud's Corner have been updated/corrected (Thanks to Ruth), began to update the shopping section of the site... Added a small page to discuss some of the other stage projects Richard has appeared in... as well as a long-delayed page on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, where Richard will be playing the part of the Child Catcher. (Big surprise there-not)

1/27/02- Time Warp, the UK fansite, is organizing a world-wide birthday card for Richard this year. Click here for more details!

1/13/02 - Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas, Kwanzaa, Yule, Hanukkah, et al. As well as a Happy New Year.... and if you didn't have THAT, try for a NUDE year. ;) Few updates.. (few?) Lyrics to Let's get to the Heart of It have been updated, as well as the bio page... added a section on the 1993 Brit Awards... in fact, a ton of lyrics were added, so instead of listing each, why not just point you to it's main index page... There has also been a new transcript added in the Mephistopheles Smith section. Lessee... what else. Oh yeh... an article about the RHS in Seoul... and something I've been working on in my spare (hah) time, A Harry Potter/Rocky Horror crossover.

10/24/01- This is super sad! Five months!!!:) Anyway, was asked by Richard to once again note it is not nice to send him mail at his home address . . . see the main page for details and his message to fans . . . as well as an update to the sequel page! Check out the big news here! I've also updated the news page, check it out here.

5/22/01- Update the D&D section to include a few capture images. Incidentally, the DVD has a deleted scene with Richard in it.

4/02/01- Got a postcard from RO'B today- very exciting. :) I also added a bit of tomfoolery, a"popup video" style page. Take a look.

3/26/01- Just for a bit of fun, added a selection of searches that have brought people here. Really makes you wonder.

3/25/01- A big Denton "Happy Birthday" to Richard, who turns 59 today. RO'B fan Rach even put up a little page to commemorate the occasion. :)

3/23/01- Added some WinAmp skins to the Multimedia section. Have a look-see.

2/04/01- Today's the day, it seems. The site is more or less fully functional (I know there's a few sections missing at the moment but bear with me . . . and just another reminder that you can join the Richard O'Brien TightCircle- an e-mail based discussion group for everyone's favorite bald man. You're more than welcome to come aboard and chat Ritz with the rest of us or just lurk and read what we talk about- everything from general chat to news updates you won't see on the site right away. Good stuff.

1/24/01- Looking back on the entry from 11/99 (that's scary enough as it is) I figure I average every two years for big updates.As of this writing, I've finished most of the site locally, and I'm only even making a note of it for posterity purposes . . .

1/9/01- Had a bit of a busy time for this update, and amazingly enough it's only four days later! Added a fewinterviews- two where richard talks about theDVD release, one conatins sequel info- and one where Richard has a nice long chat about Rocky, and all sorts of stuff. I also managed to find an artist who did an oil painting of our favorite person. Let's see, what else. Oh yeah. Added a picture and small write-up from Hello! magazine of Richard and his daughter Amelia, updated the Bio page, and did some finetuning here and there.

1/5/01- Well, I finally managed to get off my lazy butt and do something around here . . . be sure to check out the new section on the Las Vegas 25th anniversary convention, and also the procrastination aids, which has been tooling around the site for a loooooong time unlinked.

1/2/01- A great big happy new year to everyone, I hope you had a safe and fun time. The site is happily going back to normal from the overly festive look. ;)

12/10/00- Did some more updating to the D&D section, including a selection of reviews.

12/08/00- Added a section on Richard's newest upcoming film, Elvira's Haunted Hills.Also updated the D&D section, which comes out today, so go see it!! Also added a banner to the main page today in remembrance of the late John Lennon (RIP)

11/13/00- Done a little bit of work in the articles, made everything a little more uniform and simple. Also added a few more to the list, so check em out.

10/23/00- What can I say? I didn't have much to add, really. Buuuuuuuuuuut I do hope y'all will forgive me, maybe the pic here will explain what's been taking up most of my time . . . :) (at right, and many thanks to Kev for having the foresight to have his camera with him in the balcony of The Joint on Saturday night - That's Kev on the far left and me on the far right, and some stunning bald bloke we met during the Saturday RHPS showing at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas . . . ;-D) He's such a warm person, it's no wonder why I decided to do this site. Anyway, here's an addition- a little info about the musical T.Zee And fear not, there's no way I could go to an event with Richard appearing and NOT have a report and pictures for you, it's just taking me a while to get over a) jet lag from my trip, and b) car lag from Kev and my subsequent trek later in the same week to NYC to check out the Broadway Show. (And ANOTHER section will be put up about that, as well!)

9/1/00- It's been slow. Well, added another interview . . . this one comes to us from AnneMarie, whose friend spotted it on a bus. Thanks!

7/30/00- Well, got bored. Real bored. And re-did all the interviews in the interview section . . . as well as adding anew one (thanks to Ruth F-W) I also updated the Rocky Sequel section accordingly with the new information from the interview.

7/25/00- Sorry I've been away . . . what have I been up to? Well, I'll tell ya. The Rocky Horror Show, at the Beck Center where I live. I've been playing stage door Johnny, and having a fucking great time! Check it out if you get the chance!! And while you're there, please sign my little petition to get Bob Simon to Broadway.

6/16/00- Added an article about The Rocky Horror Show. And just for the heck of it, I also put up four other articles on Rocky Horror, count 'em: 1,2, 3, 4. ;-)

6/15/00- Thanks to Ruth for sharing The Famous Rainbow Recipe Book. The things you find.

6/7/00- Yes, I'm still here and so on and so forth. Added an interview from KLOS radio (and thanks to Mark T. and Midnight Insanity for providing it) as well as a section onThe Four Dimensions of Greta, an early film Richard appeared in. Also added a picture to the "Kitchen Sink Drama" article, and an images section. Also added an article about Mephistopheles Smith, and a new "ad" to my personal archive of graphical insanity.

4/1/00- Well, I just couldn't resist. To all who fell for my April Fool's joke, get used to it- I do this every year. (Where the heck I came up with Diane Blanston, I'll never know.)
